oh yeah, I turned the sabers into a staff model. Saves on a controller and I'm really happy how the light diffusion turned out with the increased segment diameter. Next upgrade is a bigger 3d printer to make things in less pieces and polycarbonate versus current tough+/PETG builds. Flush button!

Close up of handle with flush button offset to one end. Staff is lit with the same ZettaLights controller as all my other builds.Staff - lit in rainbow mode. Room lights on to see all parts. Staff - lit in rainbow mode. Room lights off to showcase the staff glow.

Clear PETG (top) vs White Tough+ PETG is heavier feel vs the hollow Tough+ as it needs more wall and infill to be more durable. The result is a more hefty overall weight and feel when wielded. PETG is still somewhat more brittle than Tough+ overall, but both materials survived durability tests

V2 build 1 - birthday gift Refined the whole build to print on an a1 mini. Durability drop tested, swing tested, twirl tested. Lighter, hollow tough+ blades or heavier (for durability) transparent PETG (in production) Same custom Arduino based SAMD21 PCB

Not exactly disappeared. Still working on things. Still working on my self. Engineering v2 of the saber con prop from #furlandia Coupler tube is going to get a different version already. A little too thicc, this one is.

Fire Shiba Inu head done. Will be out as a head only item that you can add more money to, to get a tail and gloves. The starting price will be 750 USD. This is the second head I have ever made. So there ARE errors here and there. But they are not that bad. Will be put up at 6pm PST. -🪷Mori🪷

Grey, black, red yellow dog fursuit head.
Has a big nose. 3d printed teeth and a yellow mouth with fire designs in the fur.
Yellow eyes with grey iris and black pupils. BildBildBild

I finally got the spoons to work on the head again. Fixed the eyebrow and cheek where it was badly balding. Bad quality fur (red) was shaved a bit too close on and brushed and it balded. But now. You can hardly tell what side is balded / was fixed lol This will be for sale soon. 🪷-Mori-🪷

#FurFest Gear looks to be working fairly well! I'm slightly concerned on the red activity, may look at raising the upper limit of the sensitivity range ... I got my X right next to a woofer... Red is a little overactive... Maybe? :3c

Going to MFF this weekend? Keep an eye out for Zetta in 1 of 3 styles of harness. Stop him for a hug! Ask questions! Check out the gear! Ask him about the (soon to be) 4800 LEDs on his living room ceiling that will run off the same hardware he is carrying around!

Worried about the bag getting flagged so made a little demo box using the original hand-assembled PCB and the silicone seal test LED strip Bag: through no issue Zetta: flagged for additional pat down screening TSA agent at the bins: "What's that? Oh that's cool." Zetta: 😰 <3 -Z

Little 4 way USB-C cable inside a pack of rechargeable AA and AAA batteries at Costco. It can charge 3 of my boxes at once on my 18w brick. (1A each charge rate) Sadly it's sharing power to the USB-A and USB-C ports so I can't also charge my phone... Will use the AA and AAA somewhere... <3 -Z

3 LED controller boxes charging off a single USB-C splitter cable.
Power adapter rated for 5v 3A so can only charge 3 boxes at once.
Need more power ...

Remake! The Leg Strap add-on for the last 7-Point build ended up a little too long. These are 40 LEDs each down from 53. Seal curing overnight then assembly tomorrow to get them out for MFF next week! I'll have a few builds with me! Follow the lights if you want to chat!

Box! Designed for easy use, even while wearing paws or mitts. 3d printed PETG enclosure. Integrated clip. Slide toggle switch for on/off. Low profile to prevent accidental toggle. Single push button to change or lock the mode. Single swappable 18650 battery. USB-C for run and/or charge.

Work shopping some hook and loop for slight adjustability at some key connection points. New X design Allows the leg strap add-ons on the current MFF 7-point build to be modular Will update with some better photos once the harness is on the fursuit it was measured for Set for LAUNCH! <3 -Z

New X design showing full length LED runs along both straps with a single O ring and hook and loop fastener to tie it together.
(Lower straps loop through O ring at front to offer some adjustability Close up of an adjustment point for the X 4-Point design.
A square of hook on the end of the strap which is passed through the Chest O Ring.
A length of loop strip lines the back of the LED strap for the hook to attach. (Amount of adjustability depends on design, roughly 6 inches here for clarity. Adjustment points on other designs will typically be a few inches to reduce bulky excess material that doesn't have LEDs inside)Wide view of 7-point design with leg strap add-ons slightly visible on the left and secured to the main harness via hook and loop.
Design incorporates buckles on the chest strap with slight adjustability points via hook and loop at the buckles.
The connection points at both hips offer adjusted for the waist straps via hook and loop on the back straps.
It also gives a more lightweight result with less buckle weight on top of the added few inches of fine tune adjustment.
A fox (Zetta) showing off the 7-point design.
Leg straps not connected here to show the base design.
7-point meaning there's 7 straps that meet at the chest.

Got a battery for the multimeter. Power testing puts my 600+ LED and 6+ hour runtime estimates in the ballpark of EXTREMELY conservative. TL;DR: there's enough juice to rave all night. Also run+charge via power bank or swap 18650 batteries. Either way, the power ceiling is HIGH. <3 -Z
