Disappointing St Patrick's Day parade in Galway today. Castlebar's is genuinely much better. Almost no primary schools, virtually no music, no Irish parade classics, like McAlpine Fusiliers, no tribute to Dolores Keane, poor, very poor.
Beautiful bog track; pity about the non-native conifers beyond.
