Sometimes I log on, see a post with 20K likes (!) claiming "an author's characters always reflect either the author themselves or who they wish to be" and I just close the internet 💀 And then those same people harass any author who creates a character with more depth than a piece of cardboard
Real abusers ARE a problem in a lot of online spaces, but people are too fucking pussy to do anything about it so they go after the weird art and the kinks.
Regarding the nonconsensual attachment of clothespins (with "flea" written on them) to strangers' fursuits: Consent and boundaries are important. If you can't have fun without violating other people's property, then I don't really care if you're having fun or not.
