A full reference sheet for my fursona!!! I've put off doing one for so long for?? Who knows why?? BUT HERE IT IS!

I call him Rooni (to avoid using my name where I can in the hopes the kids from my work don't stumble upon me as a lot of my humor is very adult and NOT KID FRIENDLY), and he's a blue and yellow coydog (coyote/domestic dog hybrid)! He's got kind of a childish, star theme to him, to represent the whimsy I was not able to feel until adulthood.

The sheet has two fullbodies (front and back of his general design), as well as three headshots showcasing various expressions and accessories he may wear, such as an alternate collar and some other nametag charms!

There are a lot of little notes written around, all letting the reader know that all of the accessories and extra details are optional when drawing him. Beside these notes are his pride flags (Trans and Pansexual), and his pronouns (He/they).

There are a lot of little color palettes tossed around too to give a clearly display of his colors without the gradient of his belly muddling things!

From start to finish the sheet took 5 hours and 24 minutes, where I stared unblinkingly at my screen as the Sk8 The Infinity anime dub played in the background. Please for the love of god can Kaoru Sakurayashiki like hit me or calls me stupid or something I feel like that would fix all of my problems /k

Fun brain note: When I talk about my childhood and refer to myself, I often use he/they for them!! But when I represent my childhood self as a character, I feel oddly comfortable using she/her for her! I also don't mind she/her to talk about my experiences being raised as a woman (in regards to my child self), though I haven't had to hear someone ELSE refer to her as, well, HER, so I'm not sure how I'd feel hearing it come out of someone elses mouth? ANYWAY GENDER IS WEIRD IS ALL IM SAYING

How do you guys organize your art files? I'm one of those ppl who never titles their projects properly if they're not for work- but I do sort by month! Anything unsorted are WIPS/current projects, so I have a visual to do list! (some censored for artfight!) #artist #art #organization

A screenshot of my personal art folders to display how I organize them- I have a file for every months, and then big year folders I dump the smaller folders in so that I don't accidentally put art I did this summer in last summers july folders!

I'm a lazy ass who keysmashes most of my file titles, but for the sake of my own sanity I've been TRYINGGG to label my commission work properly.

As you can see, I work on a lot of art all at once, and struggle a lot with finishing art in one sitting! having a visual to do list helps a lot, and when it gets super crowded it lets me know 'oh we gotta complete some stuff'.

A redesign/redraw of one of my childhood ocs, Splashpaw! She used to be a funny mishmash of white and grey, but I've given her some more shape by making her a grey lynxpoint cat with warmer undertones around her nose and back. She kept her blue eyes, and I've upgraded her ears to be rounder and curled inwards.

She was my very first deaf character, and very first sapphic character too I believe! I had her whole family tree designed, and she had a classic emo 'darkforest ghost has been haunting my family for literally no reason' backstory.
