Idk I just can't follow this advice I know may be good, maybe I still haven't gotten over feelings of inadequacy but looking at old art doesn't make me feel good about my current stuff it just makes me feel bad and embarrassed about where I was at when I made it. I toss most things after a few years
My advice that I give to any artist especially ones starting out: Keep ALL your drawings. Never toss anything out. Those are precious milestones against which you can measure your personal progress. Your old art is also a well of inspiration to revisit later in your journey. Cherish it
