Bastard of Reality

Guitarist, vocalist, atheist... trouble magent.

I randomly met Carrot Top in 1995 in Charlotte outside of a record store with my bass player and our girlfriends. He was on crutches with a broken leg. He shook hands and gave hugs to everyone. Even when it was fashionable, I can't hate that guy. I hope he's okay.

I'm convinced that music artists and entertainers in general that market themselves as "nice guys" or "good girls" are all hiding something. You don't have to be a complete miscreant, but if you do this and won't even get some dirt on your shoes, go the fuck home.

"The Werner Herzog action figure represents the futile attempt to stave off mortality by grasping at the paraphernalia of childhood, taking solace in the fleeting moments of completionist joy that it brings..."

A Star Wars Black Series action figure of Werner Herzog as the unnamed client from season one of THE MANDALORIAN

I've had writer's block for months, but I wasn't that concerned knowing how many dozens of songs I have sitting around. I have to have it hit me, I can't just summon it like I usually do with riffs. Tonight I got a title and the subject and the lyrics are just growing.
