Yeah so I'm not gonna fuck over people who need alt text because "it trains AI". AI is being trained on EVERYTHING. It's not gonna stop it from harvesting or emulating your work. But not writing alt text IS going to make your space less accessible. Don't let the panic turn you into an asshole.

If it's helpful, this is the quick and easy guide I use for writing alt text in a way that's "good enough" without being too mentally demanding. Sometimes I include more or less info depending on energy level, but this gives a decent base to follow
