Make it make sense 🧵 1/5 Between 1960 and 1972 I was a military brat. Free medical care (including dental) with no deductible and no premiums. Flashback to my mother, in 2006, yelling at me because "socialized medicine" was horrible, they had seen it living in Europe in the 60's.
That threat of communism used to work, because, well, Russia & their nuclear arsenal. Then I grew up, found out that the red scare was bs, their bombs were poorly maintained, and the reason their communism didn't work was...oligarchy and a lust for power. the "people" weren't a part of the equation

New soccer fan here...is it just me or: wcs = pride, honor, athleticism pls = buy the merch, can't afford to go to the game and good luck watching it on tele, a shit-ton of monetization, athleticism and I don't watch much (other than online clips to appreciate the athleticism) and read here
