A congregation of White Ibis, which has a distinctive down-curved reddish pink bill and legs, is walking in green grass along the bank of the blue lake.

Interesting information:
This ibis is almost entirely white, save for the black-tipped wings and brilliant reddish pink legs and bill. The bare skin around their blue eyes is also reddish pink. Juveniles (fall through winter) are brown above and white below with a streaky brown neck. The legs and bill of juveniles are orange-pink. Immatures (first summer birds) are splotchy brown and white above as they molt into adult plumage.
An ibis is a medium-sized wading bird with a long neck, spindly legs, and a distinctive long, downward-curving bill. Colors vary by species. The White Ibis is brilliant white with black wingtips, the Scarlet Ibis is vivid red, and the Glossy Ibis has dark, iridescent chestnut and purple feathers. They live in warm regions worldwide, frequenting shallow wetlands, marshes, lakes, mangroves, and mudflats.
Ibises are carnivorous. They eat aquatic invertebrates, crustaceans (like crabs and shrimp), insects, small fish, and occasionally small frogs or snakes. Ibises are highly social birds. They forage, fly, and breed in large, sometimes vast, colonies.
They usually build compact stick nests low in trees, shrubs, or dense reeds near water, often sharing nesting spaces with herons or spoonbills.

I wanted to take away most the details in the tracks and leave just the light reflections because I found it to be busy. I also blurred and darkened the edges trying to bring focus to the sky and the overhead wires.
Canva - enhanced the sky and darkened the details of the wood trestles to simplify the train tracks.
Snapseed - adjusted once more to brighten the light on the tracks and bring out more detail in the clouds. Blurred the edges and the station sign. Added a vignette.

"Lake Louise is a Canadian lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta. In 2023, water clarity reached 7.5 meters, demonstrating exceptional transparency. In some places, the lake reaches a depth of up to 70 meters. Situated 67 km from the town of Banff and 190 km from Calgary, it owes its turquoise color to glacial flour—a fine sediment created by the mechanical grinding of bedrock by surrounding glaciers. The primary glacier feeding the lake is the Victoria Glacier, located to the west. The water temperature never rises more than a few degrees above freezing. Measuring 2.4 km long and 1.2 km wide, the lake drains into the Bow River. However, the water's emerald hue risks losing its brilliance due to melting glaciers. In winter, the ice layer is thick enough to host temporary attractions, such as a natural skating rink and ice sculptures. A marvel!"

Moody Blue Monday. Blue hydrangeas doing well in my front yard. Taking some cuttings to plant near dahlias instead of lavenders. Found out today that lavender acts as herbicide n would prevent seeds growth. It kills n suppress the growth of plants nearby. #bluehydrangea #mygarden
