In a lot of ways, the environmentalism of my parents' generation didn't ask anyone to sacrifice anything. People still drove (but it was a Prius), lived in the burbs (but with a beautiful garden), bought supermarket food (but bought organic). It was an aesthetic choice as much as anything. 🧵

Current (likely unpopular) opinion of the moment: Everyone should just use a 24-hour UTC clock. It doesn't matter if you're having lunch at 12:00 or 19:00 or 03:00 but having a consistent clock when scheduling meetings across multiple timezones would be immensely helpful.
