I think the US government cheaped out on new passports. I had it in my pocket for a day and it's already faded. This is a new passport that I used for one trip.

I find it really confusing in certain parts of the world, the "ground floor" and "1st floor" are not the same thing. Why do I need to push button 4 to get to the 500 rooms? That doesn't make sense to my American brain.

I feel like I misread the room way too often and then end up feeling like a terrible person in hindsight.
Sadly I'm not gonna be at AC this year. I'm really bad about being on top of getting a room for big cons and I often find them stressful past a certain size. I do have plans to head to Europe in 2 weeks and BLFC plans in October ❤️

I think what's kind of depressing to think about is that the world is full of neurodivergent people who are incredibly talented at (insert employable special interest here) but have been passed up simply because the world wasn't built for them.
I'm starting to compare AI software developer tools as something like an Auto Pilot on a sophisticated airliner. It can be a tremendous help and reduce some of the tedious workload, however, if you're not carefully monitoring what it's doing, you may end up crashing into a mountain.
