NYT clanker Keynes is fun to watch but unconvincing. Keynes thought he had two great insights:(1)declining marginal propensity to consume implies a demand shortfall w/o investment;(2)can't count on investment b/c it's based on vibes and vibes about vibes. This is where he'd have started with AI.

not enough is said about what has happened to the experience of searching on Google. we no longer have the option to simply search without Google putting an AI-generated answer at the top of the results, and most of the time those answers are wrong 😒

As we enter UN General Assembly High-Level Week, a sharp and searching post from Henry on international relations--and for its trackers, prognosticators, and theorists. Important insights for sense-making and social research in this chaotic geopolitical moment. Look forward to reading the paper.

"Perhaps the most useful role that the discipline of International Relations may play is ... as a generator of largely untestable and incompatible claims that can then help inform policy systems that are better adapted to work with many possible futures."
