Two strategies I’ve developed for dealing with my ADHD are 1) trying to swim perpendicular with the flow of my attention when it wanders and 2) physically getting up and moving somewhere else when Switching tasks or taking a break.

At a certain point we need to just come to terms with the fact that a good number of parents just do not have the best interest of their children at heart and respond accordingly.

If there was a train station, or buss station within walking/biking distance I would drive way less if at all but unfortunately we don’t have public transportation in most of the US.
