I was doing a daily lap through my front yard on Monday, which I’ve converted to a perennial flower garden, and I spotted this cutie popping up. I have no idea how a Pansy ended up in this area (since I didn’t plant it) but I could not be happier. Hopefully our May snowstorm doesn’t take her out 😬
Another photo of my lilac blooms. I planted her three years ago and have waited (impatiently) for the blooms to really show themselves. This is the first year they’ve really come in and it brings me so much joy and hope.

Went on a much needed solo hike with the pups on Saturday to a very popular lake. It pays off to hike during shoulder season. When the fall leaves disappear so do many of the hikers. It had this place all to myself. 🙌
