Yesterday, it was a typical bike to work day, but we also woke up to -51C (-59F)with the windchill. That would usually trigger a ride on the bus, but took the "International Bike to Work Day" as a challenge, dressed in layers, and I was surprised at how easy it was! www.uphere.ca/articles/rid...
These are strange days: we typically have an average temperature around -27C in January. Today was +2. Climate change is real, unsettling, and daunting. But today, we focused our energy on a revitalizing hike as a family to Ranney Hill, just outside of Yellowknife, NT.
