This sucks sooooo hard. We just started being able to navigate the east side via bike, and now one of our main trails out of the Payne/Phalen neighborhood is gone. It was a connection for so many areas. 😭😭😭😭

Clearing people out of the barest homes they've made for themselves while simultaneously giving them no where to go: the cruelest thing I've ever heard.

I honestly think some y'all do not realize how hilly it is in St Paul.

One of the best things about kids are when they say stuff that makes you deeply question your own sanity.

I was outside earlier and despite the decimation of a portion of my boulevard plants: almost every flower had a bee on it. Earlier today, there were five Goldfinches in it. Still beautiful. Just different.

My incredibly protective neighbor let me ride her daughter on the back of my e-bike for a half a block!! Double kids is a joy.

I told my kid we were going to go vote while she was in camp today. She was offended. "Without me?!" I don't think she's ever missed voting with us.
Glad it's raining. For the plants, for the city (an overall cool down is needed right now), for my mood, for the dirt in my road, for the rain barrel. BUT mostly for my legs as the kid has had us out on the bikes every night lol. Hope it keeps up all day.
Kaohly Her is a joke my neighbors fell for. It’s time to cut our losses and force out this corporate sex pest. She posts ribbon cuttings and business deals while abusing employees. She refused to investigate SPPD over Rose Street, and has been flippant with opposition to her encampment sweeps.

Now I understand why Mayor Her told Chief Henry he didn't have to face the community after the raid on Rose St. She told us she asked him personally not to be there.
I have had so many horrible things happen to me that were ignored by others that seeing people get the help they need both heals and wounds me simultaneously.
