hey #atdev fambly check out this really useful awesome-atproto repository I just found! I want to make an awesome-bsky that is more tailored to bsky development in particular and has more hands-on educational tools beyond just a list of resources (similar to awesome-atproto but applied to bsky!)

I started Awesome ATProto, "A curated list of awesome ATProto resources" https://github.com/beeman/awesome-atproto It's based on the ATProto Dev Ecosystem sheet that's been shared here! Looking for feedback, fixes, additions, etc! 🙌 @atproto.com @bsky.app

This network is so young, that most of the places around where I grew up have never been mentioned... 😁

I had some issues getting ATProto the dev server to run locally so I figured it would be good to have a Docker based setup for easy local development. https://github.com/beeman/atproto-local This should start it up with one command 👍

I decided to go back to my original handle @beeman.bsky.social. It seems easier to recognize than my custom domain @beeman.dev and there might be some historic value here 😅 That said, I didn't delete my _atproto DNS record, so the link is still there from that side.

I find myself wondering why there are no ads... Then I realize I'm not on the bird app 🥳

Yesterday I started building a proof of concept of a custom frontend for Bluesky using ATProto and I see a lot of potential already! Can't wait to go down the rabbithole and use this as the base layer of my app 🥰🔥
