I've updated a couple of the user styles I've distributed before to be on GitHub Gists instead. This has the benefit of y'all being able to 'install' them (if using an extension like Stylus) and have them receive updates automatically.

I figure I'll do that 1 fact = 1 mundane piece of information thing. The funny thing is, I think my life is so mundane that I can't think of anything notably mundane enough to be worth mentioning, so PROVE ME WRONG.

These tablets are the same medication in the same dosage. Why even make the bigger one?? Its so much harder to swallow aaaaa

Close up photo of two pills (the chalky tablet kind). Both are pink and have a splitting point in the centre. One of them is, however, about six times larger than the other.

Played TF2 for the first time in a while last night. At one point someone managed to kill me after, I assume, I'd been getting them a lot. Subsequently, a lil in-game back and forth happened. Person: finally got his ass Me: Not a him Person: got their ass Me: Thanks :)

To 'put down' an object: place it on a surface. To 'put down' a baby: to coax it to go to sleep. To 'put down' an adult: to insult it. To 'put down' an animal: to murder it. English is a weird language actually.

It's super cool and fun that every time I make a point of trying to clean the flat, I immediately end up feeling ill. I know I'm allergic to dust, but I feel like I must be allergic to like... bleach or something too.

CW: Potential cognitohazard Currently very aware of the presence of my tongue in my mouth and it feels weird and uncomfortable

How do we still live in a world where Dominos won't let you put vegan cheese on a pizza with meat on it This is lactose intolerant intolerance, I tells ya.

Had a dream about zatzhing warfare. A bombing run yingletising people en masse to zhrow zhe enemy into disarray and a long period of adapting zheir lives and military to being smol guys.

CW: AI, US politics Of course one of the first pro-AI articles I manage to find whilst researching a thing is an "America needs AI to beat the Arabs" post on a climate change denial website.

If I had £1 for every time a musician or YouTuber I pay attention to came out as trans this year, I'd have like... £15. It's happened a *lot*.

I should really register for the local hackspace. I like making stuff, I just don't have the space to do it at home. It's been a long time since my product design and electronics GCSE, though. 🥲

On Kier Starmer's first day in office, he moved GDS from the Cabinet Office to DSIT. On Andy Burnham's first day in office, he shut down DSIT. No word yet on where we're moving to. Potentially DCMS, given they've got the "Digital" part of their name back again. I'm tired, boss.

I don't think we should mince words. Transphobia and hatred killed May Pollard. The Idaho legislature killed her as surely as if they'd pointed a gun at her head and pulled the trigger. Anti-trans laws were the gun. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

Idaho pushed anti-trans laws for years. Then a teen died.

The life and death of May Pollard, 16, provides a window into the tragic effect that legislation and political rhetoric have had on trans people in America.
