Hey #kikorangi folks! When checking whether you're enrolled to vote on vote.nz, use your RealMe login if you have one, because it's about a billion times faster if you've already got it set up. If you don't have a RealMe login, make sure to TYPE IN YOUR FULL ADDRESS. Don't use autofill. #nzpol

It's not that governments have been intentionally running the service down. It's more that people are using things like email and texting instead of sending letters to communicate with each other long-distance. If you use a service less often, they downgrade it.

Counterpoint: the Electoral Commission has been making huge efforts to make sure that people are enrolled to vote. This includes historically disenfranchised people. Also, you can still cast an ordinary vote without an EasyVote card. The process will just take a fraction longer. #nzpol #pōti26

Just watched the first episode of the four-part documentary series "The Man Will Burn" about Burning Man. All the white people in it are insufferable. "Black Rock City is the Vatican and everywhere else is a church" oh fuck offfffffff The one black family is p cool tho.
