Sometimes in writing it's the moments you never expected that turn out to be the most significant. My daughter is listening aloud to my manuscript and her genuine excitement at my story is making my heart soar. 😭

Laughing at the fact that one of my most 'recent' posts was about how helpful listening to your manuscript aloud is. That was from when I was preparing my draft for its first round of betas. And now I'm listening again to prepare for the query trenches. It's been a while! 🤣

Listening to my manuscript aloud is such a lifesaver during revisions! I can read a page fifteen times and not see that missing s or breathe instead of breath. But microsoft robot voice will make it obvious everytime!
