Trump said "Election security should not be a partisan issue, we should be united." I couldn't agree more. Paper ballots. Post-election audits. Open-source voting tech. And robust systems that make errors rare. We already have the first two. The second two are coming.

In case this is useful this week: if someone claims that an election held 6 years ago was fraudulent, they would need evidence thoroughly convincing to a large majority of election experts. Anything short of that should be dismissed without hesitation.

I feel this more strongly every day. Yes, AI is disrupting tech jobs. The response from leadership needs to be *more* empathy, *more* high-EQ management. That requires fewer reports per manager, not more. A clear delineation of what the agents will do and what the humans are responsible for.

Damn, RIP PGN, the Sean Connery of computer security. I learned a number of valuable lessons about composability from Peter (voting systems are hard). He was always asking shrewd, careful questions, like a bright ray of sunshine.
