What's funny is by pivoting from CC to Sophie, they removed the veil. CC is objectively a star player. So, people could plausibly argue "we'd be W customers if...", even if we all suspected it was in bad faith. Sophie is a 3&D role player who turns 30 in a week. That just doesn't move the needle
