Hollis celebrated 80 years since the first Hollis Strawberry Festival this afternoon! As always, the music from the town band was excellent and the local 🍓 strawberries 🍓 in the shortcake 🍰 were sweet!

First morning of summer break is for strawberries from the garden, cool sunny walks with the pup, and thinking about the last day of school. It's bittersweet to leave Hollis Primary after having at least one kid there for the last 8 years, but it's exciting to start the next chapter.

Everyone should be lucky enough to experience a love that goes far beyond physical features. When I see her, I don't see that our families came to America from different countries. I see everything we were, everything we are, and everything we hope to be, all at once. #LovingDay
