Graph purpose: Show both the individual days of global warming, and the longer term trends. X-Axis: Years, from Jan 1940 until 7th Feb 2025 Y-Axis: Cumulative number of days above different global warming milestones (Log scale, from 0 to 10,000 days). For the unwary, beware the Log Scale !! Additional information: The Dates at which the Global Warming trend line (Loess 30 year window trend line) crossed different Global Warming Milestones. E.g. by 22nd September 2025, there have cumulatively been 800 individual days above 1.5C Global Warming. E.g. in August 1985, the Loess trend line for the Global Mean Surface Temperature Anomaly crossed 0.5C. Note that these dates shift a bit as new data comes in. For instance, Summer 2025 a bit cooler (than 2023/2024), and this was enough to shift the date for passing 1.00C from Dec 2011 to Jan 20212 (in practice this was a shift of 3 days). For those keeping track (and who isn't?), the planet is now at day 3 at 1.65C above the 1850-1900 pre-industrial baseline. While MSM sells outrage 24/7 with Kimmel, Tylenol, Putin, Israel... collapse just doesn't make the cut. Do folks care about the end of everything anymore?

Of all the manufactured crises in the history of crises elevated by authoritarians to justify a power grab, the unarmed carjacking of Edward “Big Balls” Coristine by 15 year olds, in which he didn’t go to the hospital - in a city where crime is down 30% - has to be the absolute dumbest.

Hydroponic basil plant growing just fine indoors, near a window, in the depth of winter. I started these from bits of basil that I bought in the supermarket. Added an aerator. I’m quite impressed. Cheap, easy, tasty, fun!

Is the current US/Israel coalition a threat to the free world? I mean, what if they don’t like our hair or food? They could attack and take out our infrastructure. They control weapons of mass destruction and are both trigger happy and deluded. Major paradigm change that needs to be acknowledged.

The reality here is that more than 50% of farm workers in California are undocumented. Not to mention construction, hospitality and retail. California’s industry is about to be destroyed so that Trump can ‘own the Dems’ and his wealthy associates can feast on the fallout.

LA. An ICE agent’s hand was hurt when a rock struck their windshield. The Edward R. Roybal Federal Building has graffiti painted on it. Some federal vehicles in a car park were vandalised. Hardly seems like the right time to call in troops.
