@countbinface.bsky.social Can you include a manifesto clause to change train announcements from ‘arriving in to’ back to ‘arriving at’. Also ban the use of the frankly baffling ‘station stop’ and return it to just ‘station’ which is, after all, what it is. ALL HAIL OUR NEW LEADER (hopefully).

The amount of finished pilot scripts and pitches I have sitting on file. All of them a no. Some of them can’t be pitched because others pipped me at the post. One cant be made because it’s too ambitious. The message is keep going and I’m telling myself that really not you but also keep going yeah?

Upon arrival in the EU in the long (we got our sovereignty back) passport queue, I imagine dark suited Americans tapping away on screens in a remote room - as I get to passport control (after an hour because 350 million a week to the NHS) the agents look up; Jason Bourne just popped up on the grid…
More travel. More waiting in hot pipes. Two scenes always play out. The first - as we take off I imagine Shawn Flynn struggling with the control column, suddenly shot in the foot, just managing to escape with the other Wild Geese. (Oh there’s more…)

Very rare sighting of all spectacles at a watering hole. Since this was taken at least two pairs have vanished again in to the wild.
