My thoughts on the future of AI: 1. It won't survive past 2028 in current form 2. Datacenters are a waste of time, energy, and land 3. Monolithic LLMs are a net loss and have a near zero ROI 4. Local compute is the only reliable way for mass adoption 5. GenAI is a rotting corpse of a product

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.
