It just hit me today how similar the covers for the first appearances of the major modern era superhero teams are
Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day are the two best Marvel NYC films. Along with Into the Spider-Verse, Shang-Chi, and Superman 1978, they make up my top five superhero movies

Well, all these decades later, Veitch and his artist collaborators were able to finish it in a grand fashion - bringing Swampy, Abby, and John Constantine together with Jesus, the New Gods, and the Crisis on Infinite Earths. My golden age of comics has now been beautifully brought to a close. 2/2
As a freshman in college and a huge fan of the Swamp Thing series, I was sad and frustrated when DC abruptly cancelled Rich Veitch’s time travel/birth of Alec & Abby’s child storyline due to concerns that the pitchforks and torches for The Last Temptation of Christ might turn their way. 1/2
I have found that I really only like eating as a social event. When I’m by myself, I eat the easiest, quickest thing just to get it over with.
