Circling the drain with this abecedarian poem. But every time I sit down with it thinking it just needs a couple of tweaks, I find more and more to adjust. I think now it is finally really close!!

It's really amazing how many companies don't understand the concept of pitching news to a magazine/newspaper by sending a press release with actual news to an editor at that outlet. How do their PR people get jobs without that basic knowledge?

Got fed up today and unsubscribed from a bunch of newsletters. Daily emails from some lists are just way too often. And even weekly is too much for me at this point. Every list should have a "monthly digest" option.

If the gag order is against her "publicly" discussing the book, what is to stop large groups from publicly discussing it, then allowing her to privately discuss in small private book clubs? What, exactly, is "public" discussion? How many people must be present for it to be "public"?

Using AI in medical labs to find cures for diseases? Great! Using AI because you have writer's block and don't want to put in the work of a writer? Abhorrent and unnecessary! I will never again trust anything Yale Review publishes to be written without the help of AI or LLMs.
