Raining decently hard on the way home from work today, on the freeway doing under the speed limit because of all the spray, had a guy about 80-100ft in front of me fish tail, shoot backwards across two lanes and go in to the dirt and grass median at about 60mph. Didn’t hit anything, luckily.

Happy (wedding) anniversary to my @shadssnep.bsky.social who means everything to me. Almost 16 years together, and now 4 years married. All these wildfires going on in the state right now, and they’ve just had a Sikorsky Skycrane go down today while fighting them, condition of the 2 crew members unknown because of where they went down in relation to the fire they were fighting. 😔

Just returned from taking @shadssnep.bsky.social to her final follow up appt after having brain surgery back in February to remove a meningioma pressing between her brain and skull that was causing debilitating headaches that meds wouldn’t touch. Happy to report, she’s been given the all clear! 🥰

Just finished watching the new Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender movie on Paramount+. FINALLY… the good animated Avatar content we’ve been waiting years for! Quite enjoyed it and would watch it again! 😊 The fan service cameos in it were a giggle, too.
