I am sick (I do not intend the pun) of wandering around streaming from eyes and nose. It's not Covid or a cold, just a vicious dose of hay fever. Between the amount of tissues I have to buy and the fact that strangers shrink away from me on the Luas (in fairness I may also smell or something).

So I am minding my own business and get a message from a friend that some other man is up to no good. Not a famous man. The other week I heard of a friend of a friend being beaten by her partner (not famous). I am so fucking sick and tired this week. What's the common denominator? Men.

I am fucking tired. So many articles the last few days. They gave him a funeral like a President would have. All sorts of celebs are eulogising him. If I ever meet Eddie Vedder, I have a considerable bone to pick. I do not wish to ever meet Bono.

Random car journey with my sort of boss. Old boss? Who knows? We were trading pretty churches. Oh, I see what you mean about that one, but I prefer this one. We both agreed about the Pugin on John's Lane. Lads, I did not choose the gangster life.

Right, I can post this because it is not my actual name. The beloved musician who died today, tragically far too young, and my thoughts are with his family and friends. He was a groomer creep. He groomed my cousin, so I know it for a fact.

Minding my own business mindlessly doomscolling when I saw they had arrested a young woman with a fucking shedload of semtex a metre from the border. She must have been on their radar, they must have followed her from Dublin. At what point do you not think that explosive might go up?

I have lost the plot. I see and read these articles about Tuam and Bessborough, but today's just broke me. They are up to, I think, 100 skeletal remains of infants. Just think about that. I seem unable to think about that. Massive hayfever going on, but I feel like I have been crying for hours.

And yet again I experience the urge to try and track down 'Michael from the Midlands', or at least his family, via DNA. It is so fucking depressing that there are all of these children in a pit and we don't know who they are related to. www.thejournal.ie/excavation-t...

'We can start to tell their story': Forensic works begin to identify remains of children in Tuam

The opening of a new facility means investigators can begin to forensically examine the remains of children found at the site of the former mother and baby home in Tuam.

I do like Bluesky; it's like a less problematic Twitter, but that's two friend requests in the last few days that immediately jumped to private messages. Nothing gross or anything sinister, but no. Just because I went down your timline and you seemed legit doesn't mean we are friends.

So I am there, insert name, for privacy reasons, stand up, walk, breathe. And I did. I needed me to talk to myself. Out loud. Between the heat and the construction noise, I have lost the will to live.

Genuinely my cig dealer takes better care of me than friends and family. The man sells me dodgy cigs down the pub, but he checks in if I haven't checked in. Fair play to him.

I am having a moment about a male co worker being a douche to a female co worker. V much not for the first time. I cornered her and asked, she said it's not worth it. Said male co worker is the son of a lady that worked here for years. Btw it wasn't physical or sexual, just verbal 'banter'.
