Nearly burnt-out humanitarian and Indie author of some potentially terrible novels that no one seems to buy. I like them: Erga Omnes, The Sovereign Citizen Series (not what you think), Lightning Daughter, and a few others that might be meh.
I started doing this 3 years ago with books that are excessively focused on describing the human perception of small details. ...Sold like shit.
Artists are making ‘anti-slop’ to rebel against AI: ‘It’s been rammed down our throats’
We have our assignment:
“Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok facing backlash from governments around the world after a recent surge in sexualized images of women and children generated without consent…” This is the “supercomputer” Memphis is being poisoned & taken advantage of for? www.bostonherald.com/2026/01/06/t...
I think this is the future of HR since they've gone too far on the ATS portals to cut down time costs. In the end, these systems waste everyone's time and degrade applicant pools. If you're a hiring manager, expect to see this more often as HR's are intentionally making themselves irrelevant.

And remember, The Pirate Bay is still a thing with loads of CBS content up for grabs (including the 60 Minutes back library) If the links start getting pulled down and you want to see it, start checking for it over there to see if it's up yet. thepiratebay.org/index.html
Wrestling (again) with how far to take the parents' lie of santa for a very clever child, and realizing it's not about the magic of childhood fantasy. We lie because we are desperate to hold onto the absolutely captivating innocence they have, to postpone the freezing nihilism that's just beyond.
Absolutely! This is what robots are for: I hate folding clothes and making the bed
From the new issue: What will it take for robots to start doing our chores?
Keep seeing these kinds of posts, not just from this round of nonsense. My takeaway is that you can NEVER underestimate the capacity of others to enable a narcissist. Maybe they are codependent, trapped in an abuse cycle, or maybe just opportunists. It doesn't matter. The result is the same.
haha, it's a sovereign citizen reboot with actual law citations. Maybe gonna work, maybe not, but the point is that law enforcement has effectively lost their claim to authority in this country. Will be generations before they get it back. Well done y'all!
A woman recently went viral for holding up a window sign during a traffic stop, part of a growing trend of drivers using cards to assert their rights instead of speaking to police.
Have to say, when I first read "Trump pardons Gobbles" my brain saw "Trump pardons Goebbels" and it didn't even seem all that absurd.
Flu A + Childcare Hell Day 5: Watching the Peanuts movie for the 40th time, I realized something. Charlie Brown is every little boy who's at a critical fork in the road towards adolescence. 1/3
Loads of posting about MAGA sphere being inauthentic and overseas, but not a lot on expressly connecting the dots that most of the political appointees rn have their wealth and "bona fides" rooted in this. Just wanted to be a voice saying this out loud, plz excuse if I missed the boat already.
I want to see a special payroll tax penalty for worker to C-Suite compensation in excess of 1:500. For scale, anything more than $14.3m when lowest full-time worker is paid $14/hr is bad for the economy, society, and democracy. Don't have to even fuck around with personal income tax brackets.
Bored and still unemployed, so will run an experiment on X to see what happens to a low-use/low-follower account under the new algorithm, when you simply ask grok to draft the tweets it wants to see and elevate. Note: I had to tell it not to draft a crypto scam, bc it really seems to like those.
Haha: "What is your story? You never told me about a story.” I didn’t respond. It was time to publish my story. I’ll text it to her.
EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification. I glanced down at the message. “Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began. So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies. www.lawfaremedia.org/article/anna...
There was a desk, a compilation of surfaces and cabinets that together served as a portable cubicle to fit neatly anywhere one might wish. The screen was on and a computer fan below it blew out stale air, hotter and somewhat dustier than the plastic plant in the corner suggested.
This is actually very interesting because it highlights what happens when a State loses it's authority (as distinct from power) The abusive overreach with the ICE raids is making all federal law enforcement look dubious, so it no longer matters whether it's a legitimate fentanyl investigation.
All of Mpls - the millionaire PAC supporting Jacob Frey - is now attacking Omar Fateh & Jason Chavez for “attempting to stop” a fentanyl investigation; neither did any such thing. Both alerted community to ICE in the Feds’ raids - which even Frey called excessive. Just foul Trumpy stuff here.
Found a great mockup for Tom Homan's upcoming visit to Israel planned for some time in Q2 2026.
Can't believe the LA rioters destroyed this landmark building in their ICE protests! Where will it all end?
Sir, I worked for USAID for 15 years, and I'm a military vet who spent time stationed at EUCOM and USINDOPACOM, where I helped provide humanitarian aid. For the last ten years, I've helped relocate displaced Palestinians to America, Jordan, and Egypt. Boots on the ground, Bitch.
