Fyi: Dad is okay. They are keeping him overnight, based on my conversations with the doctors it seems very precautionary, they said they’re probably gonna discharge him tomorrow depending on how the tests come back. He feels fine, frankly he’s just bored (lot of sitting around with nothing to read)

A big social factor too. Republican officials are terrified of being labeled a traitor, becoming a hate object of right-wing media, and shunned by friends and family. Adam Kinzinger's family members publicly denounced him for saying the Constitution is good and a violent attack on America is bad.

Two more GOP amendments go down to crushing defeats, both in MO. #4 would have made future ballot initiatives impossible to pass by requiring winning a majority statewide *and* in each congressional district. #5 would have eliminated the state income tax.

Also like, yes, air travel is less "luxurious" than it was decades ago, but also now you can get to far flung parts of the world often for just a few hundred dollars. Guess what most ppl actually prefer?
