A lotta folk read "privilege" and think of people being served expensive meals in fancy rooms. White privilege is just the promise that no matter what, they're not gunna treat you as bad as they treat us.

i assume there are few ppl on bsky to discuss smash events but the recent cody situation really highlights how inundated smash media is with antisocial people who understand nothing about having communal responsibility to one another and only see smash as entertainment through dehumanizing drama

i won't mince words: if you call someone you think is a Bad Person a schizo, a psycho, the r-slur, what you are signaling to people around you is this: you think people with Scary Mental Illnesses and Disabilities are morally bankrupt, scary, disgusting, and undeserving of respect.

being a huge fan of a franchise series is really fun because you get to say shit like "Dark souls 3 is unforgivably awful, a mess on every level, a complete betrayal of the design principles set in the prior entries. The beginning of the end. 7/10 I did 3 playthroughs I'd happily do a few more."
