literally these are books that would be pulped if not bought for 10 cents on the dollar. do rare books sometimes make it into there? yeah, if someone is careless, but that's *upstream* of what happens on sale, not *downstream*. you fundamentally are rescuing something from the fucking pulper.

I wish people had an ounce of critical thinking skills left. What is value of scanning a rare edition of a book compared to a cheaper, readily available version? If you actually check the sources, the rare antique books are actually all post-ISBN, and even the "rare" examples are from this century.
