I make and draw things. Professional Fabricator in Hollywood. Emmy award winning puppet maker at Henson Creature Shop, worked for Legacy, Buddy Builds, etc when the business is actually rolling. She/They - No AI

Haven’t worked on my book in a while, and while I’ve had some good epiphanies about the last end of it, I’m having trouble getting my brain to cooperate. Just gotta do whatever for this transition period and hope I get the steam back on?? Keep reminding myself I can always rewrite stuff later.

My coworker just silently walked by my bench and placed down a 3D printed Jimothy and walked away lol. I’ll take pictures once I paint it. (Flocking was also discussed lol)

Had another session of our Stonetop game last night and I really really like this system. The way it’s constructed, it felt way nicer for us each to have a Moment, a nice balance of just talking about what’s happening vs Playing Pretend in Character, and left me excited! Def wanna draw my guy more!!

My character Veskovär, with and without his jacket, and before and after his Affliction is starting to take hold

Between work, trying to finish a commission, and knocking out my super quick SDCC costume, plus any other personal life stuff I can squeeze in, I’ve been spread real thin. My heart wants to work on my book still all the same?? Brain has other ideas lol but…

Been picking away at writing chapters 27, 28 and 29 of my book kinda simultaneously and I’m not feeling great about them… but definitely a lot of exposition dumping that I need to just get out and move forward and I can tidy things up later. Arg arg arg. Sewing at work and I just wanna write lol.

I didn’t make any real progress on my Picasso build last night, but I did buy a zipper bag at the thrift store to embed in his tummy so he can be my purse lol

Picasso the weird little creature that lives in Zorg’s desk in the Fifth Element

Sheep Detectives was such a better movie than I expected and I’m still thinking about it. Doesn’t help that my coworker is obsessed and we’ve been discussing it all morning lol (She agreed the reporter and the cop should kiss)

During my lunchbreak at work I finished the head plate for my Zorg cosplay lol just gotta sort out how I’ll attach it to my head! (Forgive how ungroomed my hair is lol it’s been a long week)

More Book Posting: been thinking about the ending and I think it’s going to be longer than I first thought, which is good!! There’s still a mess of moments I wanted to fit in somehow and rethinking my strategy for the End Game means there will be more opportunities to potentially fit them in!!

Aaaaah a second person has now caught up reading my book in progress and said they really like it and I’m so jazzed!!! Gives me hope this will find an audience eventually, at least people who enjoy a diverse collection of weird little guys haha Just gotta finish writing it and land the ending… OTL

Finished cleaning the house with over two hours to spare before my friends come over for grilled meats! A first! (There’s still some stuff to take care of in the yard but I’ll get to it lol)

Welp with two and a half weeks until SDCC I’m officially committing to this cosplay. We’ll see if I have the time to knock out a Picasso to clutch like a Bond Villain

Zorg from Fifth Element Picasso, his weird little desk creature

We had our first proper session today and Vesko already messed up a spell and is starting his slow transformation into a weird little mutant freak and I couldn’t be happier. It’ll be almost a month before we can play again so I’ll just have to find the time to draw him again lol

My pirate game group has ended but we’re now pivoting to the game Stonetop and I’m super excited!! My character is a Seeker, basically on his way to becoming what some might describe as an evil wizard. I’m still trying to figure out a name for him. Suggestions welcome!

A scraggly, bearded man with dark blonde hair and a cool scrappy black coat, and iron-age aesthetics.
