Mary Ann-Stephenson is trying to swing her weight around when the truth is she’s not a law enforcer. She has no mandate to say this. She can urge for it to be followed, but she cannot be judge. Especially when there are solid arguments that the code is, in itself, unlawful.

Marked the Burnham Bathroom Ban by using the women’s toilets. You know what happened? I had a piss. Went to wash my hands and a woman came out of the other cubicle, complimented my hair and then left. Yeah this ban ain’t gonna work.

One last thing. Never EVER let Labour forget what they’ve done here. This mess is theirs. The Tories started it, sure… the Supreme Court made everything worse… but Labour had multiple avenues of cleaning up this mess up. They chose to proceed with segregation. Never let them live it down.

I find it fascinating when cis people talk about puberty blockers for trans youth. There’s genuinely just not a single bit of critical thinking going on in their minds.

The Pathways trial is a flawed mess, designed to reach a forgone conclusion of making healthcare harder to access for trans youth. However, I’m glad the high court have quashed this challenge as it proceeding would have emboldened the Gender Critical movement even further. The UK is diseased.

Breaking: A legal challenge against the Pathways puberty blocker trial has been refused permission to proceed in the High Court. More detail to follow.

This is pretty god damn bleak. Amnesty has withstood pressure from murderous dictators and genocidal regimes and yet they caved to lawfare from JK Rowling. This effectively means no domestic UK organization can criticize Rowling or GC orgs without risk of being destroyed by endless lawfare.

I don’t see this as remotely lawful. It incites public bodies and individuals to commit criminal offences under the Gender Recognition Act if the data subject has a gender recognition certificate. And, it is equally illegal for every data subject under data protection laws.

My Trans Pride interview included a reference to Cass that UK reports left out, but interestingly the Murdoch owned NT News Australia did broadcast these words. ‘If you continue adhering to the Cass report, which has been widely discredited, you are complicit in the deaths of these young people’.

I’ve got major writer’s block. But the good thing from this session is I have realised I need to rework a fundamental aspect of the story I’m working on. So I’ll do that when I am no longer suffering from said block.

Thing is, it would have been so, so easy to wash this stink off. Trans people and & progressives are desperate for hope. I think people would have been very willing to give him a chance to start fixing this, and quite a lot of grace in the meantime. But apparently, even a symbolic change too much.

🚨 Bridget Phillipson remains as the Minister for Women and Equalities After FWS Phillipson publicly stated that trans women should use men's toilets. She recently signed into force harmful & discriminatory statutory guidance which will devastate trans lives. Suggests no change re. trans rights.

It has taken Andy Burnham less than a day to squander any chance of hope or change. His appointments (Keeping Mahmood, Phillipson and Streeting) in cabinet positions shows that when he was talking of bringing “hope” that message of hope was not for immigrants and trans people. Expected this tbh.
