So it seems fitting that Norway has refused to refuel a US Navy warship… but. Those ships are out there for a reason to keep Russia in check. Sure it sends a message, but Putin is smiling. I’m not.

What really (really) rankles me is when some Republican stooge puts words in the mouths of the "American people."
So I guess the question is, will US vaccine makers follow these recommendations so that Americans will have a flu vaccine during the next flu season? (I'm 69 years old and jabbed to the gills) www.who.int/news/item/28...

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care. But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix. The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.
People often find that cell phones, landlines, and the Internet are the first victims of a natural (or man-made) disaster. That's why ham radio operators encourage others to get their license to operate as a ham or at least get a GMRS license to use inexpensive (but more reliable) hand-held radios.
Why the fuck are we talking about making Canada a 51st state, while Puerto Rico and Washington DC are RIGHT THERE WAITING????
Under the GOP's SAVE Act, Tribal IDs would NO LONGER be accepted as valid identification to register to vote. This is a direct attack on the voting rights of Native American communities. #StopTheSAVEAct social.demcast.com/s/EC9Y1x2d

Years from now, we’ll look back at 2025 and recall how nice it was. We have to do more with what time we have left. Consider that we just elected a regime who will do what’s best for themselves—not for ordinary folks.

This 2019 story feels relevant today. Did it end with the 737 Max—or was it policy? Cutting costs to near-minimum wage shouldn’t be priority over lives & safety. 📌 Boeing outsourced 737 Max software coding to $9/hour engineers, laying off in-house talent & subcontracting offshore to save money
Trump doing what Trump always does: Lying and spreading fear. The suspect is a U.S. Citizen and a U.S. Army Veteran, who was born & raised in Texas. Somebody please bring Trump up to speed. Not that it matters. He’s gonna lie anyways.
I kept changing my mind which Carter cartoon i should go with. Here's all three.
Jimmie Carter has passed. For me, he set a shining example that I cannot hope to match, but I can try.
President Carter's words capture the essence of servant leadership: holding office not for personal ambition, but rather to serve others and make a real difference in someone's life. 🫶 #Leadership #Service H/T @ChairmanBuckley
