Urban noise can have detrimental effects on both human health and biodiversity. In 2025, SENSR began a pilot project to assess noise in Edmonton’s natural areas and its effects on both human and non-human city dwellers with the Edmonton Valley Zoo and the University of Alberta.

Reconnecting the Rockies - BC is focused on improving motorist and wildlife safety on Highway 3 in SE BC. Already, 8.4 km of fencing has been installed and 6 underpasses have been retrofitted to allow for wildlife movement! @ncccnc.bsky.social @biodivpathways.bsky.social @claytontlamb.bsky.social
