i like birds and vidya and manga

finally saw castle in the sky for the first time ever at a ghibli fest screening just now. insane to imagine that was the studio’s first feature film, it holds up every bit as well as many of their later films. they showed the 97 english dub and it was really good, big fan of dola’s actress

well i finally finished the fountainhead. i can’t deny that i enjoyed the superficial story being told, though it definitely overstayed its visit. but in general the actual point that it makes feels pretty silly and ham fisted

is it weird that i have a billion times more fun just exploring the map and legacy dungeons and experimenting with builds than fighting any of the main bosses, honestly the “wow look how hard this boss is :)” fights are the least fun part of elden ring for me

A rare bird, a Swallow-tailed Kite, was spotted last week in the county. The photos I had taken were on a cloudy day, so when the skies turned blue, I made several other attempts on seeing the bird, striking out until yesterday. I did get to catch the bird's beautiful ruby eyes.

i beat romina tonight, pretty fun boss. i think i'd enjoy elden ring a hell of a lot more if more bosses were designed/tuned like this. she hits pretty hard but her audio and visual tells are very easy to notice and learn, and she has pretty reasonable windows for counterattack. also her music owns

i’m finally close to finishing the fountainhead but i gotta say. “roark blows up the cordlandt building wile e coyote style” is pretty difficult to take seriously in a story that takes itself incredibly seriously
