14 hours ago - From the first taboo-busting strike in 2023 to Labour's final capitulation this week, here is how the union won a 35pc pay rise for doctors.

Today a student nurse heard a colleague talking about how much I love policies, asked to see my online directory of saved policies, then asked what my favourite policy is, and I still can't tell whether or not she was teasing me.

Going home after two days at RCN HQ, where I've been helping to select the debates for this year's Congress #RCN26. We've recommended some really interesting stuff for this year's agenda, and I'm looking forward to hearing what RCN members have to say about it!

It's Freshers Week in Manchester and it's so busy! This does make it slightly more difficult to get down Oxford Road, but it also makes me happy because I'll be teaching some of them soon 🥰 Welcome/welcome back to all of the pre-reg nursing students, I can't wait to see you out in practice.

Solidarity with BMA members - your years of pay cuts don't reflect the value of the work that you do. Nursing staff should take note, because this is how we achieve #FairPayForNursing and safe staffing for patients.

Good morning #RCN25! The Agenda Committee election opens at 8am for Congress voting members. Go to the Governance stand in the exhibition area to cast your vote - you can rank the candidates in order of preference, so I'd love your #1 vote for Josie but you can also support other candidates as well!
