Yes, Trump is a horror. But he was elected a second time, after people saw what he did the first time. Sure, we can blame Trump, but a large portion of the American people are really to blame. It makes me sad and embarrassed to say that, but we all know it’s true.

I know this is a common belief, but it’s not true. If people went anti-vaxx/MAHA because they were excluded from the medical establishment, we would see sky-high rates among poor people, minorities and the uninsured. We don’t.

Huge congratulations to the US-based Wikimedia Foundation employees who voted with 92% support in favor of unionizing, and shoutout to the tireless work of the organizers.

It's actually good to try to reach people and use some shared concerns to push for regulation to limit corporate power. Same thing with the data center battle! If the left doesn't address legitimate problems in a real way we give an opening to the right to sell crazy bullshit.

The "centrist" think tank Third Way is looking to pay someone between $140,000 and $150,000 to spend their days trying to dig up dirt on DSA members. They're trying to sell this gig as "anti-extremism" work, which I find completely disgusting.

Hong lost by 4,000 votes, and in fact did well in some rural counties. This comes down to campaign strategy, not a massive referendum on DSA politics.
