First they'll tell you what you can't protest about, then they'll get rid of your unions, then they'll tell you what you're allowed to teach, then they'll tell you *who* you can teach. If the university admins give these assholes an inch then we are lost.

The letters are addressed to all U.S. universities that are presently under investigation for Title VI violations relating to antisemitic harassment and discrimination. “The Department is deeply disappointed that Jewish students studying on elite U.S. campuses continue to fear for their safety amid the relentless antisemitic eruptions that have severely disrupted campus life for more than a year. University leaders must do better,” said Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. “U.S. colleges and universities benefit from enormous public investments funded by U.S. taxpayers. Every dollar invested into NIH research equates to $2.46 in economic activity. In 2023, NIH funding supported over 400,000 jobs in the U.S. and created nearly $100 billion in economic activity. Cutting public research funding won't save money -- it will cost working people billions of dollars.
