#LateNightWrite Okay there are some things I can say for this... The way Mages exist in this setting... They are literal anomalies. Human beings are not supposed to be born able to tap into magic and in present times they are under very very harsh self-imposed restrictions for a *reason*.

#LateNightWrite Okay, this one I can answer. Because it's more the premise and not so much a reveal. Rae starts out with the very stereotypical fantasy notions of good vs evil. And as the story progresses there is a very rude painful awakening to the fact that is NOT how this world actually works.
