A new label has been added to allow for showing badges on profiles with AI generated profile pictures or banners without blurring them. The original label also shows a badge, the only difference between these two labels is that the new one does not blur profile pictures at all.

[1/2] Tidal Music has released a new policy on AI that will go into effect throughout July. What has changed / will change? - Users will be able to filter out AI content. - AI content will be clearly labeled. - AI content will no longer be monetized. - Protections for artists against AI mimicry.

This labeler is now maintaining a blocklist for accounts that reply to non-AI posts with AI images or audio. This is useful to prevent your posts being used to platform AI media.

While testing out DMing from the labeler today, our chats were instantly and automatically restricted after sending our first and only message. There were no reports, because we did not report ourself. and this is quite absurd, if this happened to you as well, please let us know.

This labeler is now maintaining a blocklist for LLM bots that automatically interact without consent or interaction

As an experiment we will be running @isthisai.blackwall.gg, an account for pointing out AI media. If you believe a post is AI media being passed off knowingly or otherwise as real media feel free to mention us and we will try to come to a conclusion and explain it in the comments. 1/2

IMPORTANT: For any artists/writers/etc etc, using Linktree to point people to their work, from 5 July, they'll be feeding all imagery you use on your landing page into DALL-E by OpenAI. I deleted my account this morning.

This potential issue has been brought to our attention and in response we have created a new label for "third party imagery posts" to try to avoid confusion about whether REAL posts from other platforms containing AI images are real or themselves made up Any comments or critiques are welcome

@labeler.blackwall.gg — For posts like this one, which is being critical of a real post that contains a fake image, the application of the "AI imagery" label may be too ambiguous and cause some people to think that the post that's being cited isn't real. Maybe label not needed on this kind of post?

Our technical problems were fixed sooner than expected and we are labeling content again

Due to technical issues the labeler will temporarily not be submitting new labels, reports sent will still be received and processed when the issues are resolved, already emitted labels will not be impacted The issues should be resolved withen a week

Updates to the labeler: 1/2 Ai banner/pfp label now blurs the pfp/banner when viewed directly, clicking on them shows them unblurred

There was a temporary outage on the server side of the labeler, service has been restored however any reports submitted during this outage will not have gone through.

With the recent Artemis 2 mission, there has spawned a wave of people keen on diluting this wonderful human moment with AI generated mockeries of it, if you wish to report any such images, avoid them, or otherwise have them tagged, check out our labeler. @labeler.blackwall.gg
