Next I’ll glue them together to make 2.5” squares which will become the legs of my table saw cart / router table I need a ripping blade. Combo blade is getting the job done, but…

on @bdha.bsky.social's advice I went to the big blue store today and got four of the straightest (lol) 2x4s they had (50% keeper rate today, not bad) to build a frame for my CR box then I chunked up a 2x4 with the circular saw and milled it to 1x1s on the table saw. I really enjoyed that process

woodworking update: scrapped another box, this time because apparently I didn't get to that sheet of 1/2" plywood fast enough nor store it correctly and now it's warped. I thought maybe I could straighten it but everything I tried failed in one way or another, most catastrophically
amazon dot com is now opening a left-hand sidebar with an ai assistant on every page load no matter how often I close it or tell the AI to stop opening (which it says it will do) also the animation is dogshit. slow and chunky. it's 2026, we know how to do smooth animations on a website
more ostranauts today! since last time I did a few salvaging runs and made my first million. my biggest problem right now is running out of power so I think I'm going to go salvage a reactor... and remodel to make room for it
Ben Bleything@bleything.net · 2w agomanaged to save it and limp back home. it took 3.5 in-game days but I managed to repair and sell all the salvage, repair and sell most of a reactor from the scrap dealer, finish my remodel, and repair the entire ship. not having a mortgage is great, really takes the time pressure off
today’s Father Son Fridge Time ended with a drowsy house panther flopping over onto my hand

I've been calling it Father Son Fridge Time and it's one of the best parts of my day
