Adults don't hate being bored anymore than kids, the issue is that adults have been hardwired to believe they must be productive as much as possible.

It was stoatily amazing to see this not-so-wee family of eight flash before one of the trail cameras 📸 Wildcats share their home with a vast array of other species, many of which are captured across thousands of images collected during annual surveys. Help the team tag wildlife in the photos ⬇️
@ericrosenfield.bsky.social I'm not super educated on star trek, so I though you'd find this even more interesting. I randomly came across this weird video: youtu.be/Zywa8QCRCIw?... It tries to pass itself off as highly progressive and an innovative critique of modern leftism--

"Resistance" through abstention is often not enough of a political action to warrant real pride. Simply declaring the moral high ground by participating as one of the few who don't engage in the thing is not really doing as much as actively building something else. One takes real effort and pain.
I find it fascinating the time scale at which an era of design becomes known as its own distinct style. Frutiger Aero is a definitive style, that interpretation won for 1995-2000s. I guess the next style after that is minimalist and sharp.
A dream was always to make a "cloud" tool. Now over the last 1-2 years I tried to build smth on and off. Now I made it work in the browser. WARNING! Depending on the settings it can take a lot of GPU power, so be careful. Only for people who know what they're doing. artbuddy.urlich.ch/cloudbox/
