Pollinator Expert & Researcher Creator of Native Bee Board game Naturalist

For the last week I have been sitting through bee photos on iNat trying to find good genus example photos. Now when I close my eyes I see bee faces and little stripey abdomens...😂🐝🐝 I don't hate it.

Working on Prototype 2.0! After a bunch of play testing I'm ready to reprint the bee cards. I want to update them with prettier photos. Do you or does someone you know have beautiful bee photos I could use for the prototype? I need all the North American Genera of bees.

Asking for coding help on Stack overflow: *Spends an hour creating a carefully crafted example and question* Responses: "my god you're such a f**king idiot how are you even functioning?!?🤬" Asking ChatGPT: how do code? Response: "Oh my god yes, Queen! Lets figure this out! 🫰💙"

If you thought missing a bus after running for it was dejecting? Try hobbling as fast you can (not being able to run) and missing it by 5 seconds Two buses today pulled away as I tried my best to reach them 😭 #brokenachilles

Im in the process of updating my native bee board game prototype after some major mechanic revisions. One of the fun little things Ive done is redrawn the resources tokens in #Procreate They are stone, leaf and water. Then combos of each.

A few paintings I finished last fall. I've never felt good at painting cause my colour blindness makes it really hard, but I like these "busy" blobbies
