(1/3) From what I understand; Gregg Mayles was notorious for rejecting any continuation of the series due to loosing interest after Tooie. It's likely why Nuts & Bolts' narrative feels so bitter/apathetic to most fans - There was never meant to be a Banjo-Threeie. ^^; frvr.com/blog/news/si...
"Sign me up" - Banjo Kazooie composer is holding out hope for a sequel, but knows multiple pitches have been turned down
Original Rare composer Grant Kirkhope still wants to work on another Banjo Kazooie game, but it seems unlikely that one will ever release.

It really is astonishing that, even after 25+ years, the #BanjoKazooie series still manages to have new things discovered/revealed about it. Case in point: WHAT DO YOU MEAN SPECIAL VERSIONS OF KAZOOIE AND TOOIE BOTH HAD THEIR OWN BUILT-IN LEVEL EDITOR?! (Obviously developer-only, but still)
Catch @proflambeo.bsky.social's Wednesday streams for his blind playthrough of Banjo-Tooie, where I coach/guide him though the ups, downs, and all-arounds of the bear & bird's ambitious (sometimes to a fault) sequel!

Semi-belated gift art for @toxicsoul77.bsky.social that I may have put a little too much unintentional effort into ^^; Hope y'all enjoy it regardless!
This sketch I did for @bluepaintsea.bsky.social is my favorite of everything I did for the stream.

Obviously a coincidence I'm sure, but still a very based shoutout to Gmod animators if this actually was an inspiration! XD
With The Last Act finale now in theatres, it's probably as fitting a time as any I reshare this! As well as a small update - Alongside Alex Rochon, @cadaverdave.com is also one you should follow regarding high-quality prints!

Despite this piece being an absolute trial & error trainwreck to complete, I hope fans & viewers alike will enjoy it!

Surprise! Pepper and Pickles appear as first-time guests in @thosehat.bsky.social's latest Those Dudes With A Hat Chronicles episode! Best part? @katyjohnsonvo.bsky.social continues to be Pepper's official VA! Felt good to make emotes/stills of the duo for this collab, so I hope viewers enjoy it!

Now who's faces do these belong to I ponder... /: ) Just a small tease for what I've been working on next, so that you folks aren't completely in the dark again. Been busy with a few projects at once currently, and it's been making me quite productive to start off this year.
So without spoiling anything, I may be assisting @thosehat.bsky.social with a future episode he has in the works. Stay tuned! /: )
i wish i could befriend more mutuals... 😔 (i can, i just have to actually chat with them first and im a scared little baby)
And not a moment too soon before 2025 is done, my mini art-dump for Pepper & Pickles' design update is complete! Happiest of New Years and belated Christmases folks!
Currently putting together a mini art-dump involving Pepper & Pickles - Updating their character sheet once more, new renders for both of them, and a holiday themed piece. The Octo-chef will return again soon... /: )
Prior to becoming a permanent party member in the Super Mario DnD campaign I joined, Lavender had one more guest role, where she was invited with the main heroes to a post-tournament gala. Felt nice to draw her in something casually dressy while expanding her character. : )
With the high buzzing from @eupholace.bsky.social and @pieceofcraft.bsky.social's recent fan game; Mumbomania, I figured it be as good a time as any to reshare what I think are my best Banjo-Kazooie pieces thus far (and also since it was Banjo-Tooie's 25th anniversary earlier this year)!
A little proud of this one - A second take on my Barbarian OC; Lavender, as she appears in @dojaymi.bsky.social and @minion-of-the-east.bsky.social's Super Mario DnD campaign after being promoted from guest character to permanent party member! Prior design included for comparison -
From the DM who brought you "Digital Dungeon Danger!" (@alexrochonva.bsky.social), "The Campaign of Essentia" follows a motley group of adventurers unintentionally chosen to save a realm from an evil dragon queen! They're not the heroes Essentia wanted, but they'll become the ones it needs!
