many who talk abt the woes of “community” don’t want community. they don’t want to be challenged, inconvenienced, check others or be checked. they want unmitigated access to others without “doing the work”. it unsettles me how queer folks use “community” the way the homes we fled from use “family”

Valentino, a large & muscular anthropomorphic arcanine, attempting to walk through a doorway. He finds himself partially through, but he's stuck in the threshold; parts of the drywall and doorframe are to start cracking due to the heft of his pecs as he struggles to free himself with an increasingly embarassed look plastered on his face. Also: Casual thanks and shoutout to @yinfang.bsky.social for the banter in the post! He came up with it on the fly while Blur was working away, and I couldn't help but run with it.

Nate, an eastern dragon though at this moment he is so inflated as to less resemble a dragon, and look more like a balloon. Body bloated out enough his hands and feet are sunken into his round swollen limbs. A look of panic on his face as he nears his limit. For what little bit of face you can see through his massive cheeks.
