This, sadly, could be about most of the people who control most of the decisions being made about most of the things I care about.

Elias said Rutschman embraced the challenge of being the first pick in 2019. "This is an unfortunate reality of the business."
I swear to god - having to hope that Adley to Red Sox was turned down ... presumably by the Red Sox, raising alarming questions about his medicals... is not how I wanted to be spending deadline day.
Wild that all these supposed money people still have not learned that winning baseball games is the way to get more money.
this is tantamount to atrocity denials (that facists always pull out) for all the doctors and nurses who were living this and I don’t understand (as someone who was trying to navigate NYC ICUs in April, 2020) why people are confusingly evil about something less then 7 years ago.

Out of a sample of 1,427 alerts that Flock sent to police in the town of Roseville, alerts that flagged vehicles as stolen or used in a felony after they passed one of the city's Flock cameras, 71% were inaccurate.
